A driveway with light loads may only require four to six inches of gravel, while a parking lot with heavy traffic and loads will require a foot or more depending on site soil conditions.
Select the correct asphalt mix for paving there are different types of asphalt for different applications. The finer mixes are great for a smoother finish but have less strength. A thicker mix will be stronger but will have a rougher surface.
